5 Easy Steps

Step 1 – Register For “FamilyTree”

.
As we begin this great adventure, the first thing you’ll want to do
is register on the lds.org website.

.

Family Tree is the amazing Internet site produced by the Church to help you easily submit the names of your deceased ancestors for temple work — all from the comfort of your home.  You can even do it in your pajamas!  It just makes you warm and cuddly thinking about it, doesn’t it?

Family Tree is open to everyone (but only Church members can see the temple ordinance data).

.

Here’s where to go to register: www.lds.org

IMPORTANT: Write down your username and password!

Now that you’ve registered, you can go through and immediately start linking your family together and checking for temple work without going through the recommended “Getting Organized” steps—although we do recommend that sooner rather than later you complete the High Point 5-Step and get yourself organized and set up properly.
