Step 3a – Install A Second Internet Browser

Since guys typically don’t read directions (and therefore end up perpetually frustrated), it’s probably better if the wife handles this part.

Follow the simple instructions shown below, and lickety-split you’ll have a second Browser loaded on your computer with all your Preformatted Family History Bookmarks.

Since most folks select Mozilla Firefox for their Family History Browser, that’s the one for which we’ve put together instructions.  Which means you would use Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari for your Personal or Family Browser.

However — you can simply follow the Browser Setup Instructions we’ve got for Firefox and easily adapt them to any other browser.

The file of Preformatted Family History Bookmarks/Favorites will import into any browser.

So now…let’s dive in and get it done.

# 1 – Download & Print The Instructions

Download the Browser-Bookmark instructions now.  These are instructions for Mozilla Firefox, but they’re also easily adaptable to the other three browsers.

The easiest way is to print the instructions, and then follow them through the simple process.

# 2 – Choose Your “Family History” Browser and Download It

Choose one of the following as your “second” or “Family History” browser.  They all work on either a PC or a Mac (except for Internet Exploder, which is PC only).  Now click on the appropriate link below to download it:
